How to Lose Weight Sweating

Losing weight is not easy. If you want to lose a great deal of weight, it can be tempting to take diet pills or try unhealthy diets. Unfortunately, this is dangerous, not to mention a temporary fix. To lose weight in a healthy manner and keep it off, it's important to adhere to an exercise program that's vigorous enough to get the body sweating. By working out intensely, the body will burn excess calories and fat, while building up muscle.

Instructions

    1

Speed walking is walking at a very fast pace. Making the body sweat more than regular walking can, speed walking burns around 500 calories per hour. It's important to wear comfortable running shoes. You should also carry a water bottle with you to replenish the water you will lose in perspiration.

    2

Causing the body to sweat profusely, running can burn more than 700 calories per hour. A pair of running shoes should be worn to prevent ankle or knee injury. Because running can be very intense, start out slowly, running one mile per session. Gradually increase the mileage until you can successfully run three miles without pausing.

Strength training builds muscle tissue, which burns more calories than fat, making sweat-inducing workouts more effective. Exercise each of the main muscle groups, including the legs, arms, back, and abdomen. Consult a physical trainer at your local gym to learn proper form.
